While the estate does not farm in hand it works with its farming tenants to ensure the land is kept in a good husbandry like manner for generations to come. We have recently undertaken soil testing to assess the soil condition to see what we need to do to maintain it in a productive and healthy state. We are proud to say our tenants are members of the Red Tractor scheme in which we support them where we can.

The Estate lets the arable and grass farm to farm tenants, with whom we have a close working relationship.  Our ethos is about ensuring sustainable farming practices which focus on producing food and doing this in an environmentally conscious way: looking after our soil health, caring for biodiversity.  We are proud to say that our tenant farmers are members of the Red Tractor Scheme in which we support them where we can.

As part of diversification of the Estate’s grass areas, we offer various grazing paddocks for equestrian use.
